The United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.

Service. Unity. Leadership.

We unite people across Washington and Oregon through service, civic participation, and leadership — open to every background, culture, and faith.

What We Do

Our work spans three pillars.

Everything we run — from voter education to youth academies to food drives — lives under one of three commitments. They reinforce each other: people who serve become people who lead, and people who lead bring others into civic life.

Pillar One

Civic Engagement

Building community voice — helping residents understand how government works, meet the people who represent them, and take part with confidence. All of it strictly nonpartisan.

Pillar Two

Leadership Development

Training the next generation — and the current one. Youth academies, mentorship with working professionals, scholarships, and the practical skills that turn willingness into capability.

Pillar Three

Community Service

Showing up where the need is. Food and clothing drives, blood donation campaigns, clean-ups, disaster relief, and steady support for new immigrants, families, and seniors.

Rooted in Washington. Growing outward.

From Renton across Puget Sound and south into Oregon — we work with youth, students, professionals, business owners, seniors, and the organizations that hold neighborhoods together.

Our Beginning

Our Story

How a statewide community meeting in Renton became a movement for civic participation.

Seva National Alliance USA was founded following a statewide community meeting held in Renton, Washington, in December 2025. The meeting brought together prominent Sikh community leaders and members from across Washington State to discuss the changing political landscape in America and the importance of greater civic participation.

Building community voice — helping residents understand how government works, meet the people who represent them, and take part with confidence. All of it strictly nonpartisan.

Following the meeting, volunteers traveled throughout Washington State to meet with community members, visit local organizations, and share this vision. The response was overwhelmingly positive, with many people expressing appreciation for the initiative and a strong desire to become involved.

After months of conversations, community meetings, and collaboration, leaders from across the state came together to establish Seva National Alliance USA — created to unite individuals through service, civic engagement, leadership development, and community partnerships.

"Seva" means selfless service — work done for the good of others, expecting nothing in return.

The idea behind our name

While founded by members of the Sikh community, our programs are open to people of all backgrounds, cultures, and faiths.
